The Studio
HOUSE OF GRANT is a British~Australian interior design and architecture studio specialising in private residential projects across Sydney and Adelaide.
Our approach is interiors-led and architecturally grounded, creating thoughtfully designed homes that are deeply personal, joyful and timeless. We believe that history and modernity, imagination and restraint should coexist, with each project shaped by an understanding of its context and the way our clients live.
Our interiors are informed by an appreciation for the architectural character of each building, with an emphasis on form, proportion, colour and light. Through thoughtful spatial planning, layered materials and bespoke detailing, we create cohesive interiors that balance refinement with individuality. Looking to the past while designing for the future, we embrace nostalgia and contrast ~ the sophisticated with the relaxed, the old with the new, dark with light ~ to create warm, expressive and enduring interiors.
The Founder
Founded by interior designer and architect Siân Grant, House of Grant draws on her professional experience across the UK, Europe and Australia working with internationally renowned studios on prestigious residential projects.
With a British design sensibility and an appreciation for the Australian way of living, Siân combines a respect for craftsmanship and architectural heritage with a confident approach to materiality, colour and form.
Her background across interior design and architecture informs the studio’s holistic approach, where every element is considered as part of a cohesive whole — from the broader spatial arrangement to the smallest bespoke detail.
“ Our design philosophy is
to balance timelessness with the unexpected,
embrace moments of drama
and create interiors
with a distinct sense of character ”
