About the website

The website introduces our studio and our interior design, architecture and decoration services, shows selected projects and publishes Musings, our journal of design insights, build notes and studio news.

Information only, not professional advice

Content on the website, including Musings, is general information about design and construction. It does not take your circumstances into account and is not architectural, building, planning, legal or financial advice. Requirements for approvals, construction hours, dilapidation reports and similar matters differ between councils and states, and change over time. Please check current requirements and get advice specific to your project before acting on anything you read here.

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors.

Enquiries and engagement

Sending an enquiry through the website does not create a client relationship or oblige either of us to proceed. Our services are only provided under a separate written agreement or fee proposal, which sets out the scope, fees and terms for that project and takes priority over anything on the website.

Project descriptions, statuses and images on the website are illustrative. They are not an offer, quote or promise of a particular outcome, cost or timeframe.

Intellectual property

All content on the website, including designs, drawings, sketches, illustrations, photographs, video, text, the House of Grant name and logo, and the layout of the website, is owned by or licensed to House of Grant and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Project photographs may be the work of credited photographers and are used with permission.

You may view the website and share links to it. Unless we agree in writing, you must not:

• copy, download, reproduce, modify, republish or sell any content, including images and designs
• use our designs or drawings to build, recreate or market a project
• use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the website
• use any content to train, develop or prompt artificial intelligence or machine learning systems
• remove copyright notices or credits, or present our work as your own or as another studio’s

Instagram and other websites

The website shows posts from our Instagram account and links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites, and their own terms apply when you use them.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website in a way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security, or that sends spam, malicious code or misleading information through our forms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, the website is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content, including indirect or consequential loss.
